How many meals do you eat in one day?

Close study of weight loss throughout the past decades has proven to us that eating a small number of large meals daily will lower your metabolism. This diet pattern results in extra weight in fat. However, this fat seems to be easily burnable, so there is hope!

Make it your goal to eat at least three medium-sized meals throughout the day.

Do not eat much late at night, though, as sleep slows your metabolism down. If you must have a midnight snack, make it small and balanced between protein and carbohydrate.

Easy Outs!

Let?s say you?re having dinner with someone and you know that this is the last time you will ever see them again. What do you do? Do you talk about superficial things? Would you rush to out of there? Chances are you would relish every moment, talk about meaningful things and milk as much time as you could before you had to say good-bye.

Time, relationships and things are all parts of our lives that we sometime take for granted. We just think they will be there for ever. But they are not.

Want to lose a little weight? Even better, would you like to keep that weight off? Weight loss can be easier than you think.

Try eating several small meals a day. This does not mean eating several small meals of high calorie food. It also does not mean you need to give up all the foods you love. Eat half of what you think you want and you will be surprised at the difference this can make in the area of weight loss. When you eat five or six small meals a day you are not as likely to overeat because you will not be as hungry. People make a big mistake when they try to lose weight by eating only once a day.

Have you ever bit into a sandwich or a piece of chicken and remarked on how ?dry? it is? Yeah, so have I, yet such a disposition can quickly affect ones waistline in a negative way. We all love mayonnaise, cheese, oil, butter, and cream added generously to our foods, yet sometimes it irks us to notice when our foods lack these delicious ingredients. It is at that realization that we deem a baked potato or a sandwich too ?dry? and unappetizing.

Weight balance now becomes the side-effect of ?growing the cellular immune system of your body? NOT an effect of Mind-set or Willpower to ?force? weight-loss/balance… For indeed you may achieve tens of kilos in weight loss by becoming the equivalent of an ?Olympic athlete? BUT when you’ve reached your goal weight but realise you want your life back seeing there is more to it than spending 2-4 hrs daily in the gymnasium- or at the track WHAT HAVE YOU CHANGED? Nothing-but-YOUR-MIND! Sooner or later your-underlying-physiology-will-revert-to-the-old-you unless you can reclaim your ideal cellular health especially if you don?t know how to build your gut immunity & use immune positive foods to maintain it forever thereafter.

Cellulite is an esthetic nightmare!

Though it isn’t directly harmful to our health, it does invade our bodies in such a way that we start to feel ugly. When this happens our self esteem is compromised.

What is Cellulite and How does it Affect Us?

It is important to note that though cellulite is indeed a form of fat it is not directly related to being overweight. Almost every single woman (i.e. a female that has past the stage of puberty) is affected by a lesser or greater degree of cellulite. It is also curious to note that cellulite rarely affects men. Cellulite is not a health risk, but simply a condition of the skin normally caused by hormonal factors such as estrogen and is more predominant in females and in certain races.

Sitting in front of a screen sipping sugary drinks and eating fatty foods is a daily fact of life for most American kids. The prevalence of overweight and obese children has increased from 15% in 1971 to more than 30% in 2000.

Western diets are oozing with more fat and sugar than ever before, while children are becoming more complacent and getting less physical exercise by sitting in front of computers all day, and in front of TV sets at night. These activities, along with the lack of physical exercise programs in our schools, are not providing the energy that a child’s body requires to burn off calorie intake.

Obesity levels are rising to over 67% of the US population and children are also developing health problems reserved for the over 45 population. In Europe, obesity is also a rising problem and countries such as Italy have introduced the SLOW FOOD movement. The Slow Food movement is both a resistance to fast food and a practice of enjoying home cooked food with family and loved ones in a calm environment.

Approximately twenty-five percent of children and teenagers in the United Sates are obese. In spite of the significant adverse effects that obesity can have on health, many parents find dealing with obesity in childhood difficult and figure it can be dealt with later. Childhood weight problems often carry over into adulthood, leading to chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Worse, these formerly adult diseases are now increasingly being found in some children and adolescents.

Life is certainly not easy, anything that you want is difficult and things you do not want are sometimes damn near impossible. It is so easy to gain excess weight, and it is pretty enjoyable doing it! It is a pain to get rid of the extra weight though, and it is a truly horrible experience.

If you think about it, putting on weight is easy and enjoyable. You just eat more and more, but it is pleasurable! Dieting however is always a nightmare.
