Constipation as we know it can be said to be the infrequent movement of bowels. As a result, there is infrequent passing of stools. Sometimes, the stool builds up so much that it results in painful passing out of feces. The symptoms accompanying constipation are infrequent bowel movements, straining to pass stool, headaches, lower back pain and sometimes, passing of blood with the stool. This is known as bloody constipation. While it safe to assume that passing out blood while stooling is not indicative of bloody constipation, it can be said that if all the preceding symptoms look like that which occurs with constipation, -nausea, pain in the lower abdomen, increased bloating of the abdomen, headaches, and loss of appetite- then it could be a bloody constipation. |
