If you’re looking for the right exercises for a flat tummy, you’re not alone. The stomach is the most worked out body part in gyms everywhere. People spend literally hours each week doing sit-ups and crunches but most of them never manage to burn off their layer of stubborn belly flab and get the flat tummy they desire. The reason is very simple: they’re wasting their time doing ineffective exercises which can never help them to achieve their goal. This article will inform you of the right exercises to do in order to flatten your tummy.

There are 3 types of exercises you need to do in order to get a flat tummy fast:

1. Abs exercises

2. Cardiovascular routines

3. Complete body workouts

Most people do a lot of abs exercises. This is a huge mistake. Sit-ups and crunches are low intensity exercises and so can never get you a flat tummy. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t do any abs exercises, but do short and powerful exercises. It’s better to do 10 hard leg curls than a 100 easy crunches. Overall, direct abs exercises is what you should be spending the least time on.

Most people also do cardiovascular routines. But they do them in the wrong way. Instead of doing regular pace cardio routines for a long time, it’s better to do short and intense interval cardiovascular routines. It just burns fat faster that way. But cardiovascular routines are not the most important thing you should be working on.

The most important sort of exercises to get a flat tummy are complete body workouts routines. I mean exercises which employ more than a single joint of your body. Many people, especially women stay clear of these exercises thinking that they’re too difficult or have little to do with getting a flat tummy. This is a huge mistake and one which you should avoid.

Working your entire body is the most effective and fast way to get a flat tummy. Why? A few reasons:

First, the stomach muscles serve as supporting muscles for most strength exercises so when you’re working out some body part, your stomach also gets its share.

Second, complete body workouts build muscle tissue (don’t worry, you don’t have to bulk up if you don’t want to). Having more muscle tissue is the best way to burn fat off your entire body because muscle tissue uses a lot of calories even when you’re sleeping.

If you really want to flatten your stomach, invest most of your time in full body workouts: around 3 short workouts a week would be fine. These are the best exercises for a flat tummy. Try it and you’ll see results.
