The benefits of DHEA are as realistic as the DHEA side effects. Nature determined that a healthful level of DHEA is inseparably connected to a splendid state of health. It can be seen in younger people. However, it is unwise to believe that if we are not younger any longer and we anticipate that our natural level of DHEA is coming down all we have to do is to supplement for some time and… bingo… levels are up and the benefits of DHEA will make us healthy as a 20 years old. No, it does not work like that. Nature is elaborated. Nature is complex. Nature requires more than the simplistically act of supplementing for us to gain benefits without DHEA side effects. The reason for it is because hormones do the miraculous job they are intended to do “as long as” our body complies with a number conditions. Nature determined for those conditions to exist before our body accepts higher levels of hormones. The list below is not intended to be complete. It should suffice for you to realize that side effects are realistic not because levels were raised, but because we swim in a pool of ignorance believing that we can supplement regardless of our state of health. * Our body receives medications ~and we take over-the-counter drugs as if they were candy~ for extensive periods of time. * Our body receives low number of nutrients from low quality food. We also grossly fail at supplementing with more than just Vitamins & Minerals. * Our intestines are not evacuated often. They receive low quantities of the two kinds of fiber along with the crucial Friendly Bacteria. * Our muscles ~including our heart~ are not properly and correctly exercised on a regular basis nor we understand why extensive use of Treadmill Machines wears out joints in the lower body. * Our body does not regularly and periodically receive a healthful quantity of water from which Chlorine and heavy metals have been removed. * Our body and mind do not receive quality sleep and rest every night for the recommended minimum of 7 hours. * Our body and mind are exposed to a hectic life style and stress. Often, we have a life populated with aggravations and preoccupations. In addition, we ignore acts of kindness to people and animals. This list is not meant to be complete. It should, however, give you an idea of the kind of conditions that promote the feared DHEA side effects and prevent what we really want: the benefits of DHEA. Should we not swim in a pool of ignorance ~and acquire knowledge on what is it that nature wants~ we will understand that DHEA side effects may not occur because its levels were raised, but because we supplement when our body is not receptive to higher than normal levels. Consequently, we may successfully supplement when an overall state of health is appropriate; and we do it cautiously. Then, we may expect benefits of DHEA without a major risk of DHEA side effects.
